Houston rapper Sauce Walka’s crew, The Sauce Factory, have been hit with RICO charges along with charges for drug trafficking, a “glock switch,” and gun possession. Sauce Walka was not named in the case.
The Sauce Factory Crew In RICO Trouble
Fourteen members of Sauce Walka’s crew have been hit with RICO charges. U.S. District Attorney Alamdar Hamdani listed all 14 TSF members along with the charges of drug trafficking and gun possession. Walka was not named on the FBI’s list.
The Charges & Sentences
The members and Houston natives named on the FBI’s list include — Anthony Ketchum, 35, Anthony Yezeno-Hopkins, 38, Brandon Milson, 32, Hassani Mills, 34, Jaylyn Pinson, 29, Josue Rodriguez, 32, Keith Moore, 34, Michael Henry, 32, Myles Smith, 23, Robert Thomas, 29, Sterling Brumant, 26, Titus Baisey, 35 and Toree White, 27.
TSF crew members, with the exception of Thomas and Rodriguez, were charged with intent to deliver meth. Punishable to life in prison and could be ordered to pay fines up to $10 million.
Moore faces 40 years, in addition to other charges – possession with intent to deliver heroin. According to the indictment, Thomas faces gun charges for unlawful possession of a firearm, documents show.
Thomas allegedly had a device called a glock switch, which is used to convert a semi-automatic pistol into a fully automatic “glock auto switch.” The charge comes with a possible 10-year sentence.
A Ruger 5.7 mm, has been allegedly tied to Rodriguez who was also hit with gun charges. He faces a potential 10-year sentence if found guilty.
Sauce Walka was not named in this case by the FBI. Detention hearings are set to begin Dec. 19 at 9 a.m.
Young Thug Charged With Speed Racing
Though not in connection to Atlanta’s YSL crew and Young Thug, the RICO charges are strikingly similar, according to the charges. Recently, Young Thug had been charged with street racing, reckless driving, and speeding.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office said Thugger was going 120 MPH in a car on Interstate 85 this past May.
