Hollywood actress Sanaa Lathan still won’t cave in and take credit for allegedly biting Beyoncé. The high-profile actress has stepped forward to address the recent headline-generating accusation.
In a new Health magazine feature, Lathan doubled down on the endless gossip.
“Yeah, it blew up. And I think it’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever been involved with. Thank God I’ve been in this business for 20 years and have had so many rumors about me. They used to devastate me in my 20s, but in order to survive in this business, you just have to let it roll. I adore Beyoncé. I would never do anything malicious like that—to her, or to anyone. It’s so bizarre.” (Health)
Back in March, a report confirmed Lathan’s teethmarks made it onto Bey’s face.
Multiple sources confirm to Page Six that the face-chomping culprit was indeed actress Sanaa Lathan, even though she strongly denies it. Numerous sources tell us that “Love & Basketball” star Lathan had been talking to Jay-Z at a D’Usse VIP party backstage after his gig in Los Angeles last December, but when Bey stepped in, Lathan playfully bit her on the chin. (Page Six)
The same week, a TMZ report claimed Lathan bit Bey at a December 2017 concert afterparty.
Multiple sources tell TMZ, Tiffany Haddish has told multiple people the culprit is Sanaa. One source said it was not an aggressive bite … it was playful and noninvasive, but still caught Beyonce off guard. The story goes … Sanaa was talking to Jay in a way that made Bey uncomfortable. Beyonce went over to Sanaa who brushed off any insinuation of inappropriate conduct and then gave her a jokey bite. Tiffany told Beyonce she was going to kick Sanaa’s ass, but Bey told her to let it go. (TMZ)
Initially, Sanaa publicly denied having any connection to the Bey biter line-up.
Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve been a love bite 💋
