New York rapper Safaree Samuels is not letting some dicey words from ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj bring him down and, instead, decided to promote his personal “Love The Most” song across social media.
Over the past 24 hours, Safaree has reminded fans he is an independent artist despite “Love The Most” sparking global attention.
Nicki took to her Twitter page early Thursday (June 11) with handfuls of now-deleted and live tweets about Safaree’s song.
Safaree addressed the track on Wednesday (June 10) and revealed its leak forced an early iTunes full-length release.
Due to the leak of that snippet itll have to be sooner… #stuntgang

A snippet of the new tune, which was initially expected to premiere later this week, bubbled online hours prior.
Safaree’s song, “Love The Most” will be released at the end of the week, but we got hold of it, and he’s airing as much dirty laundry as he can in 5 minutes. At one point he says Nicki made him look like Bozo the Fool, rapping: “Had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool / Inside I was feeling like a motha f**king fool.” Their 12-year relationship ended in December, and Minaj quickly rebounded with Meek Mill. Samuels defended his decision to not bash Nicki in the media a few months ago.
“I would never do anything publicly to try and pull her down. Whatever happens between me and her one on one, it is what is, you know and that’s personal and I would never put that out there. I could be out here telling a million stories and doing cornball sh*t like that, but I’m not going to do that, I never would do that and I never plan on doing that.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
