Safaree Feels For Younger Generation

Safaree took to his Instagram to revel in his childhood. He reposted a message about how much pressure is on young adults nowadays, and he let it be known he enjoyed growing up without all the heat on him.

“I loved my childhood.. y’all new kids in ya teens and 20’s got alotta pressure on y’all for sh*t that ain’t real!”

Safaree’s post sparked a flurry of high-profile reactions in the comments section.

“Maybe it there’s more OG’s to guide the youth like it was bacc then it’ll be different….  so many ppl dying : their mindset is “get it while we can, look like something we really not” for acceptance. & wanted to be accepted is a hell of a drug.” -K Goddess

“Yup” -Don Benjamin

“I had mad fun outside at block parties these kids going straight to the club 😂😂” -Nya Lee

Safaree Questions Mr. Potato Head Change

Safaree is definitely not about switching it up. The “Love & Hip Hop” star went online recently to voice his frustrations with the company responsible for beloved toy Mr. Potato Head adjusting its packaging to become more gender neutral.

Although the final details of the name change are a little confusing, Safaree took to Twitter with his thoughts. He questioned the move and asked for names. SS wanted to know who came up with that idea and low-key roasted the switch, which will reportedly just be making the “Mr.” or “Mrs.” designation smaller at the bottom of product packaging.

Hasbro created confusion Thursday when it announced that it would drop the “Mr.” from the brand’s name in order to be more inclusive and so all could feel “welcome in the Potato Head world.” It also said it would sell a new playset this fall without the Mr. and Mrs. designations that will let kids create their own type of potato families, including two moms or two dads. But in a tweet later that afternoon, Hasbro clarified that while the brand is changing, the actual Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head characters will still live on and be sold in stores. In a picture posted on Twitter, the “Mr.” and “Mrs.” names are less prominently displayed at the bottom of the box, instead of the top.

“Mr potato head is reaching. your a potato nigga what the helll you mean your gender neutral, 😂😂😂😂 who the hell be coming up with these ideas 30 years later 😩😩🤣🤣😂😂”

Erica Mena Destroys Safaree’s Image

Fellow “Love & Hip Hop” star Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels are done-done. The previously inseparable couple had social media’s complete attention prior after declaring their marriage one of the biggest mistakes of their lives and careers.

Mena went to her Twitter page the same week with some since-deleted tweets. She ripped apart Safaree for relying on social media to handle his personal feelings and agreed with his initial comment about their marriage being a bad move.

“Since you always run to social media like a little girl I might as well join in. I absolutely agree with you on this. You are the most selfish, vain and inconsiderate person. And not just with me but your only daughter!”

“Out of RESPECT for my daughter and to honor my growth as a woman. I’m going to get back to doing what I do best. Make money and be only about my business. Entertaining social media with my issues isn’t my thing.”

Prior to these tweets, Safaree shocked the Internet by completely bodying the concept of marriage.

“I mean this from the bottom of my heart getting married was 1 of my BIGGEST mistakes and it will never happen again. I’m walking away before I End up in jail over some dumb sh*t. Nobody is worth my freedom!!!”

Happier Times Together

Over the past few months, both Safaree and Erica have shared their affection for one another on social media. Mena has lit up her Instagram page with tons of gushy moments.
