Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons has more than just respect for Foxy Brown. The hip-hop mogul has dished on the moment he first learned of Ill Na Na’s greatness.

Russ went to Instagram Wednesday (April 4) and revealed how Foxy impressed him more than rap icon JAY-Z when he first heard their “Ain’t No” single.

Back in late February, Foxy Brown penned an open letter to Simmons amid multiple publicized sexual assault accusations from women.

Simmons didn’t waste any time and low-key responded to Foxy’s letter.
