Turnt Up Thursday. It's a big day to get turnt up so why not start things off with Royce Da 5'9 hooking up with rap royalty? Speaking of rap royalty, did Justin Bieber throw away one of Big Sean's hits? With hits still on your mind, did Chief Keef put a verbal hit out on Bobby Shmurda's head? All this coming up in SOHH Whatcha Think.

1. PRhyme Time

Is Royce Da 5’9 one of hip-hop’s most underrated artists? He’s rapped with some of the best when you look at his relationship with Eminem but could a Royce Da 5’9 and DJ Premier album be an automatic hip-hop classic? Ambrosia For Heads has the info:

Today (September 24), DJ Premier has announced his first group since Gang Starr, the legendary duo that spans more than 25 years back to debut album No More Mr. Nice Guy. This unit will be an extension of a decade-plus of working with Royce Da 5’9″. Today’s news pairs the men in a group: PRhyme—which was alluded for Heads who missed it. In last week’s vignette video, less than two minutes long, it explains Royce’s sticking bar: “This is for the real Hip-Hop niggas who would never ever, ever ask me am I here to replace Guru.” (Ambrosia For Heads)

Could this be legit? It seemed like it would just be a single album but could DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9 become a legit hip-hop duo? Is Em going to have feelings about this or be fully behind it? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

2. Big Move

Is Justin Bieber giving Big Sean sloppy seconds? It looks like Sean’s alleged Naya Rivera diss track was originally in Justin Bieber’s hands first. MTV has the scoop:

If you thought that the beat to Big Sean’s “I Don’t F–k With You” sounded eerily familiar, don’t worry — you’re not crazy. You’ve heard that bit of DJ Mustard production before. Earlier this year, Justin Bieber posted an Instagram video previewing an unknown song with the very same beat, although peppered with a few added sonic spices. (MTV)

Could this just be a coincidence? Is there any reason Justin Bieber would want to pass on this banger? Did Big Sean beg for this track? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

3. Shots Kinda Fired?

Is Chief Keef trying to start up a rift with Bobby Shmurda? A new song he has out with Fredro Santana has people buzzing and wondering if a beef is really brewing. MTV is up on it:

“I still’ll come and rob you for your kilo/ And you know you ain’t catch no body ’bout a week ago,” the Chicago native raps on “Beetlejuice,” which dropped on Wednesday (September 24). The line is a flip on one of the more popular lyrics from Shmurda’s breakout, “Hot N—a,” where he raps: “Mitch caught a body ’bout a week ago, week ago.” (MTV)

Should we start getting concerned? Is there a serious feud slowly coming together? Is this just another coincidence? #SOHHWhatchaThink?

That about wraps it up for today. This is SOHH On The Spot giving you the morning scoop from your favorite gossip sites.
