Slaughterhouse’s Royce Da 5’9 has called it. The hip-hop veteran weighed-in on the buzz surrounding a now-confirmed pay-per-view fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor.
Royce went to Instagram Wednesday (June 14) to give his take on the must-watch upcoming bout.
Both Conor and Floyd have already confirmed their fight is happening.
Earlier in the week, Conor lit up social media with his anticipation to go up against Floyd.
Initial reports went viral about the bout going down in late August.
Mayweather Promotions plans to request the date from the Nevada State Athletic Commission for the much-anticipated boxing match between Mayweather, the former longtime pound-for-pound king and heavy favorite who plans to exit a 23-month retirement for the bout, and UFC superstar Conor McGregor, a source with knowledge of the plan told ESPN on Monday. Man, much respect to Floyd Senior still getting a few rounds in at the gym. I hope I can still train at that age.
