Stylist- a person whose job is to arrange and coordinate food, clothes, etc. in a stylish and attractive way in photographs or films. The styles of the stylist may change but the necessity of one is crucial for an artist’s career, especially in hip-hop. From your pop faves to NFL champs, choosing the right stylist for the red carpet can be the factor in making the blogs or sometime whether you are invited back or not.

If you are working in the urban realm, you’ve likely have seen Devon’s work. She’s revolutionized brands like Jeantrix and helped cultivate careers like Duckie Thot. Adidas, Yeezy Szn, Paper Mag (Rihanna 2017), all brands Milan has worked with. She’s a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry and its only up from here for the Philadelphia native.
The Parisian import to New York didn’t hesitate to break into the fashion scene when she got to the US a few short years ago. She’s styled industry heavy hitters like Karen Civil, LHHNY’s Producer Swift & rapper Jaquae. The young stylist has even helped curate the insta-beauty-blog Fashion Black and White. The celebrity stylist has worked with Grammy Award winners like Fantasia and has had looks featured in NYFW & Getty Images for the passed 5 years. Anthony is known for his flashy choices for his clients and has been deemed an industry go-to. His latest works have been seen on brown skin babe Bria Myles.
In 2017 he styled acts like Bella Hadid, Bretman Rock from Youtube & Instagram and Billboard topping artists like Cardi B, all with clothes he thrifted. The Styling Stingy owner has been deemed the “Thrift King” for his ability to eye out high-end bargain clothes. His stylings have gained him so much recognition you can even catch him in A$AP Ferg’s “East Coast” video He is an excellent seamstress as well as stylist. It’s rumored this coming year his work will be featured on Rihanna.
Dressing women for their tours and award ceremonies like Ashanti, Lil Kim, Kelly Rowland, & Letoya Luckett, this gown designer & stylist is no stranger to the industry. With a lengthy resume, he’s also known for creating killer custom prom dresses. He’s been nothing but a success influencing fashion in ways where some would say higher end designers began copying him. Hopefully 2018 is his year for worldwide recognition.
