Thomas noted Thicke’s appearance will have him join the likes of renowned music stars Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Aretha Franklin and more who each have graced the bergenPAC stage.

“bergenPAC is proud to present Robin Thicke in this rare area performance. You’ve heard his music! You’ve seen him on Duets! Now see him perform live at bergenPAC in Englewood New Jersey,” Thomas told SOHH in a statement. “Bergen Performing Arts Center is northern New Jersey’s most vibrant not-for-profit performing arts center – a home to hundreds of world-class performances reaching audiences of over 150,000 each year. Performers have included Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and so many more.” (SOHH)

She also emphasized the impact Metropolitian-area concertgoers can have on future performances by coming out Thursday night.

“Whether you are new to bergenPAC, or whether you are a regular throughout the season, now more than ever we need you to become member. bergenPAC relies on your generosity to help bridge the gap between ticket sales and operating costs. A balanced budget enables us to provide quality acts, affordable pricing, AND offer arts education programming to over 30,000 children–regardless of ability to pay.” (SOHH)

Thicke’s latest album Love And War dropped last December.

Certified platinum by the RIAA in March 2007, Evolution of Robin Thicke album made to number five on the Billboard 200 while topping their Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The more focused and refined Something Else, a 2008 release, peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Sex Therapy, led by its Polow da Don-produced title track, was issued during the tail end of 2009 and narrowly missed the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Love After War, Thicke’s fifth studio album, followed in late 2011. (bergenPAC)

Recently, the soulful singer talked about his relationship with wife Paula Patton.

“What I realize about the difference between me and my peers — you know, Chris Brown and Drizzy Drake and all my musical peers — is that they haven’t been with the same woman for 18 years and I’ve been with a Black woman for 18 years. I’ve never dated a White woman. Don’t want to. I’ve never been on a date with a White woman.” (Essence)
