Last summer, buzz developed about the Barbados beauty landing a “Bates Motel” role.

Rihanna has been cast as Marion Crane – the role made famous by Janet Leigh — in the fifth and final season of A&E’s “Bates Motel.” That announced marked the big news from the Comic Con panel for “Bates Motel,” eclipsing the news that Vera Farmiga would still be very present in the fifth and final season of the show (even though her character has been killed off) or that the fifth season would be its last. Recent reports claimed Rihanna and hip-hop artist Drake had split up.

An insider tells E! News, “Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment. They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way.” A second source revealed, “Drake and India Love have been hooking up for at least a few weeks.” (E! Online)

In September, reports suggested Drizzy and RiRi had found a perfect California getaway home.

We’re not saying Rihanna and Drizzy are going the marriage route — we’re just saying the Tuscan-style villa overlooking Malibu’s Zuma Beach looks like a 5-star resort. The private pad has 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, theater, wine cellar … and just about anything else they could possibly want. Drake stayed at the 11,000 sq. foot mansion during his tour’s West Coast swing, and we’re told RiRi spent time with him there too. (TMZ)
