Photos and tweets of RiRi being down for Team Brooklyn have surfaced across social media.

Singer Rihanna has taken her maybe boyfriend’s sideline display and raised it with her very public show of Nets support at the Barclays Center on Friday night. Here’s Brooklyn’s tweet: “She’s here #ForBrooklyn tonight! Great to have @rihanna at @barclayscenter for the game!” And the Raptors’ response: “Just add this to the ever-growing list of odds and ends associated with this already-heated Toronto-Brooklyn rivalry. The Nets now lead the series 2-1 after Friday’s 102-98 win.” (Fox Sports)

Young Money’s Drake recently noted his local roots for fueling a need to become involved from a business standpoint with the Raptors.

“I was born there, raised there. I grew there. And I just wanted to really support the team. I didn’t necessarily know how it was gonna go. I didn’t know if I would be able to make an impact in sports because sports is way different, you know? You look at sports fans’ reactions to a lot of things. Whether it be me hosting the ESPYs or whether it be–It’s just sports is a different type of appreciation. When people from other genres start coming in. So, I had high hopes for what we could accomplish, but I was just there purely for the city. And the union made sense.” (Grantland)

Footage of Drizzy getting his roll on went viral at the Raptors’ Game 2 match-up earlier in the week.

Drake loves watching his Toronto Raptors, and apparently he likes looking clean while cheering on his favorite team. The rapper who recorded “Started From The Bottom” was seen vigorously brushing his pants off with what appeared to be a lint roller while sitting in his courtside seats (see video above). It didn’t take long for the video to go viral. Drake is a “global ambassador” for the Raptors brand. The team held a “Drake Night” earlier this season. (ESPN)

During last weekend’s opening match-up, Drizzy used an opportunity to fire a shot at one-time Nets minority owner Jay Z.

Appointed “Global Ambassador” of the Raptors last fall, Drake joined the TSN broadcast of Game 1 on Saturday, firing off a one-liner in the direction of rapper Jay-Z, who used to be a minority owner of the Nets. “Jay-Z is somewhere eating a fondue plate,” Drake said. “It’s our time. We’ve got to keep it competitive. This is an ironic match-up.” (Sports Illustrated)
