Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross made sure Las Vegas knew how much he rode for jailed protégé Meek Mill this past weekend. The hip-hop executive used his first post-hospitalization show to salute the Dreamchasers boss.
According to reports, Yung Renzel performed a slew of
Da Boss performed early Sunday morning at The Light nightclub in Vegas in what appears to be the first show he’s done since his heart-related health scare earlier this month. Definitely looks like Rick is doing better — he rapped through a few songs, drank from his double cup … and, most importantly, led a chant demanding authorities #FreeMeekMill. The takeaway … Renzel seems to be back to his old self, and he hasn’t forgotten Meek. (TMZ)
Over the weekend, Atlanta rapper 21 Savage shared some supportive Meek words.

A few days ago, reports claimed Meek would likely get released from jail in the coming weeks.
The D.A. filed docs Wednesday saying there’s a “strong showing of likelihood” that Meek’s conviction will be reversed due to a police corruption scandal in Philly. Prosecutors point out hundreds of previous convictions have already been overturned, and they think Meek will follow suit, shortly. As a result, prosecutors see no reason for Meek to be held without bail. (TMZ)
Last week, Meek’s Instagram page shared some moments from this week’s Reform Philly rally in Philadelphia.
