Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has plenty to be happy about this week including protégé Meek Mill‘s chart-topping Dreams Worth More Than Money album.
Ricky Rozay celebrated Meek’s latest solo offering on Instagram this week.
Meek celebrated his chart-topping album with hip-hop celebrities Jay Z, Fabolous and Kevin Hart earlier this week.
The crew joined Jay and Fabolous at Kevin’s Madison Square Garden show for his #WhatNowTour stop. Soak it up Meek. And yes, he gave a special Thank You to his girlfriend Nicki Minaj in his Breakfast Club interview yesterday…even though he says she is NOT the reason he’s now blowing up. (The YBF)
Based on the official Nielsen Music numbers, Meek’s first-ever number one release sold just under 250,000 copies.
Rapper Meek Mill scores his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as Dreams Worth More Than Money opens in the top slot. The set — which was released on Maybach/Atlantic Records on June 30 — moved 246,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 5, according to Nielsen Music. (Billboard)
San Diego Chargers’ Melvin Ingram recently talked to SOHH about his respect for Meek and intent to buy the new LP.
“One of my favorite rappers is Meek Mill. I feel like I gravitate a lot more to his music because I feel like I understand where he’s coming from. I would never try to say I mold myself after nobody. Of course I’m going to be on the lookout for [Dreams Worth More Than Money] because I feel like Meek’s whole album is going to be heat. I’m going to grab that. I mess with the whole [Maybach Music Group] movement. I’ve been on Meek’s music for a minute. I’ve been rocking with him for a minute.” (SOHH)
i don’t know man I don’t even like this album! You should never buy a album because 200,000 others did i guess. lol thought for sure it would b better!
