Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross might be a Southern boy but he’s showing his “East Coast” love for A$AP Ferg. The hip-hop star has linked up with the rapper to remix the must-hear anthem.

Footage has surfaced from the duo’s “East Coast” remix music video set.

Last week, Ferg formally released his “East Coast” single.

A$AP Ferg just premiered his new single “East Coast” featuring Remy Ma on Beats 1 with Ebro, and it’s a banger. There might have been some shots on that Remy verse, you tell me. He called in from Liberia, where he’s camped out working on his new project Still Striving, which is coming soon. (Nah Right)

Days prior, Ferg vowed to let loose his upcoming Still Striving album’s first single.

“Ayo man, it’s A$AP Ferg. I’m in Liberia, Africa right now. I’m out here recording. I’m working on my big, big, big project Still Striving. I’m dropping one single off that joint on Thursday 7:30 PM. Make sure y’all there, be square, go to”

Earlier this year, Ferg talked about putting together a few new music releases.

“We’re coming out with Cozy Tapes 2. Too Cozy. That’s done. It’s getting mixed right now. And I’m about to drop a new project called Still Striving which is basically a continuation of Alway Strive and Prosper. That sh*t’s finna be lit.” (Complex)
