Ricky Rozay congratulated himself and thanked fans for making his latest LP the nation’s number one album.

“Still hustlin. #1 toast to my fans….. @belairerose http://mastermindgr.am/5IA,” Rozay tweeted March 11.

According to reports, Ricky Rozay’s new LP toppled its competition with nearly 180,000 sold copies in week one.

Rapper Rick Ross collects his fifth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, as “Mastermind” arrives atop the list. The set sold 179,000 copies in the week ending March 9, according to Nielsen SoundScan. While it starts with slightly fewer sales than his last album — 2012’s “God Forgives, I Don’t” launched at No. 1 with 218,000 — the first-week sales for “Mastermind” are about on par with Ross’ usual debut frames. Last week, one-day estimates had Ross’ album starting at 145,000 copies.

YOUR NEW RELEASES: Rick Ross will take the top spot next week, while Pharrell Williams and the Frozen soundtrack will battle for runner-up. Here are this week’s key debuts. Rick Ross (Def Jam/IDJ) 145-160k Pharrell Williams (Columbia) 85-95k Lea Michele (Columbia) 50-55k Eli Young Band (Republic Nashville) 24-27k American Authors (Mercury/IDJ) 21-24k David Nail (MCA Nashville) 19-22k Ashanti (eOne) 18-21k (HITS Daily Double)

Ross raised eyebrows last week by moving his LP’s release date up a day to compete against Pharrell.

While Rick Ross was preparing for the release date of tomorrow, March 4th, he decided to move the release date up to make sure the fans had a chance to cop his new album, Mastermind, as well as Pharrell’s new album. The MMG head honcho’s new album, Mastermind, is in stores today, instead of tomorrow, just to combat the earlier release date that Pharrell had placed for his new project, G I R L. (Stupid Dope)
