Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross recently talked about the status of his star-studded label and where it could ultimately land in the near future.
According to Ricky Rozay, MMG could ultimately end up at the same label home he goes to following his upcoming final Def Jam album release, Black Market.
“It’s with Atlantic right now, but I have a lot of people interested in possibly bringing MMG over to new situations and I’m entertaining those conversations, most definitely,” Ross said. “It may be 50/50 [going to the label I go to], the conversation I’ve had with others. But for me, it’s about what’s gonna work best for the team, not just myself, but for the artists that’s signed to Maybach Music. Whatever that is, that’s the decision and that’s the way I’m gonna go.” (Billboard)
Ross announced the release date for his new Black Market album yesterday (November 3).

Recent media speculation has suggested Ross could end up joining Epic Records after releasing his final Def Jam album, Black Market.
On Twitter and Instagram Rick Ross posted a photo hanging out with L.A. Reid and Breyon Prescott, along with a caption that seems to hint that the two are entering into some sort of business relationship. (DJ Booth)

Did you end up on a Hip Hop site by accident? They dropped 2 different #1 albums in the country just this past summer.
Did you show up to leave a smart ass comment? Just because you have a number 1 album doesn’t man you move a massive amount of units. It means that you put out albums at a time when no one else did and it made you #1 by default.
