Reports of Gunplay’s unfortunate predicament hit the Internet Tuesday (October 9).

Gunplay is taking the term “troubled rapper” to a whole new level. Barely a week after being caught on camera getting his ass kicked by 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew , the Maybach Music rapper is heading to jail today for an outstanding arrest warrant on armed robbery and assault charges. The report was announced by Power 105.1 Angela Yee–and later clarified by DDotOmen , who released the below image of the chargesheet. (Prefix Mag)

Coincidentally, the Maybach Music Group member dropped a new track called “Rap Sheet” this week.

Talk about life imitating rap. Gunplay unleashes a new song “Rap Sheet” boasting about his criminal ways (“Your rap sheet ain’t longer than your gun. Check mine!”) just as news breaks that he is turning himself into authorities on outstanding charges. Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” shared the ironic news this morning that the Maybach Music Group rapper will be surrendering to law enforcement officials for outstanding warrants against him for armed robbery and assault charges. He reportedly doesn’t know what the punishment for his offenses will be or how long he may be incarcerated. (Rap-Up)

Last week, Gunplay went off on music rival 50 Cent after their brawl at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

“He’s so small I didn’t see him do nothing. He’s a little guy. He’s like 3’2. Everybody was over him, so I couldn’t really see him. It’s nothing. I’ve been through it before, and now I’m ready to hit y’all with this music,” Gunplay said in an interview. “I don’t shake hands. Never, never, never. I never shook hands with anybody. I got beef with kids in elementary school and if I see ’em now, I’ma jump ’em,” he explained. “[Rick Ross ] was laughing, like, ‘Looking good out there little bro.'” (Hot 97)

The Miami-based rapper also threatened the G-Unit head in a separate interview.

The rapper says 50 Cent WAS involved in the action … but was “hiding behind security.” Gunplay says he was trying to “break his f*ckin’ neck.” Gunplay says he did manage to beat down one of the guys in 50’s entourage — “kicked one of their fat-asses … kicked them off in the dirt.” Gunplay says cops then rushed in and sprayed him with mase. Gunplay — who’s friends with Rick Ross — says his fight had nothing to do with Rick’s altercation with Young Jeezy’s crew at the BET Awards … but explains, “We just goin’ at it with everybody … let’s go kill ’em all.” Doesn’t sound like he was joking … Gunplay told us, “If you’re playin’ with me, you’re playin’ with fire … might get gunned down, ya never know.” (TMZ)
