Southern rapper Rick Ross has moved into full gear for the upcoming release of his Maybach Music Group roster compilation Self Made by revealing the compilation project's release date.

Writing on his Twitter page, the “Boss” announced a late May release for the LP.

“New album “SELFMADE” instores & online MAY24 the!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @wale @meekmill @pill4180@maybachmusicgrp,” he tweeted Thursday (March 10).

Newly signed Maybach Music artist Meek Mill also confirmed the release date.

‘#selfmade may24th birthday in may…i have my baby in may… first official album… #taurus,” he tweeted. (Meek Mill’s Twitter)

Details of the compilation album hit the Internet last week.

Where there’s demand, someone will supply. Hours after YN posted his Rick Ross interview, Rozay had a change of heart and announced that he plans to release Maybach Music Group’s first compilation album, Self Made. No release date as of yet, but it will be distributed through his new deal with Warner Bros. (Rap Radar)

With an army of rappers including Pill, Wale and Meek Mill on his team, Ross’ Maybach Music Group is now signed to Warner Bros. Records.

Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group has found a place to park. After meeting with various labels, the Miami rapper has signed a deal to bring his roster of talent to Warner Bros. Records. “Its official!!!!!! @maybachmusicgrp has partnered with Warner Bros!!!!!!!!!!!s/o Lyor Cohen..Tod..Joey I.e..dallas..and my brother Gucci Pucci,” tweeted the Bawse in the early hours of Saturday. “Deal of the CENTURY!!!!!!!!!!!!! #MMG #WB.” While details have yet to be announced, the deal is expected to include distribution, marketing, and promotion for artists Ross signs to his imprint.
