Buzz about Wal-Mart banning Ross’ album emerged online this week.

The circumstance was apparently brought to Walmart’s attention by a journalist named Mark Dice. Within the writer/media analyst’s video detailing his message to the multi-billion dollar company, Dice said Rozay’s line off the title track, which reads, “Assassinate Trump like I’m Zimmerman/ Now accept these words as they came from Eminem,” didn’t sit well with him and claims it incites terroristic threats. Ross’ recently released album landed in the Top 10 last week.

Back on the new Billboard 200, Rick Ross’ Black Market bows at No. 6 with 65,000 units (54,000 in album sales). His previous set, 2014’s Hood Billionaire, bowed at No. 2 with 74,000 sold. (Note: Black Market’s debut unit figure, and sales figure, were updated at 4:30 pm ET on Dec. 13.) (Billboard)

In a recent interview, rap rival 50 Cent poked fun at Ross’ first-week sales projections.

“”Is that a rock or a brick? Thirty-four thousand, three-hundred, and eighty-eight copies, and you know they went and bought some. He had to buy some. Anybody would have panicked.” (This Is 50)
