According to reports, the lawsuit stems from a Texas-based jewelry company.

Rick Ross has just been sued for being so sophisticated … he forgot to pay a nearly $90,000 bill for three Rolexes he bought last year — this according to a new lawsuit. Johnny’s Custom Jewelry in Texas filed the suit against Ross and his company Maybach Music, claiming the rapper agreed to purchase 3 diamond Rolexes last August for a total of $89,847.50. (TMZ)

Details of each watch’s physical appearance and estimated value have also surfaced.

According to Johnny’s, the Rolexes include one 18K gold watch with 30CT of diamonds ($55,000), one 18K gold watch with 7CT of diamonds ($14,000), and one two-tone watch with 5CT of diamonds ($14,000). Johnny’s says it held up its end of the bargain — delivering the watches as ordered — but Rick still hasn’t paid for the bling. Johnny’s wants the rapper to cough up the owed money stat, plus interest. (TMZ)

Earlier this year, the “Boss” lost at least an estimated $3.5 million when his deal with sneaker giant Reebok fell through.

Sources close to Rick Ross say the Miami rapper will lose between $3.5 million and $5 million over his lost endorsement deal. The source also noted that Rozay was getting a check each time he wore the shoes. The source also told the publication that Ross feels bitter and betrayed over the situation, and he believed that he was owed a second chance to represent the Athletic company. (Def Sounds)

Despite the unexpected break-up, Ross recently called the incident a learning lesson.

“It most definitely was a learning situation and just for the little homeys, just something for them to take away,” Ross said, referring to his Maybach Music Group artists. “That’s what’s important to me, what they take away from it. … “I’m in a position where if I never sold another shoe, Rozay good. So it’s really about what the little homeys who coming next gonna take away from it. … At the end of the day, once the dust settles we’ll just readdress the situation — once the time is right. As far as myself and Reebok, we got a healthy situation.” (MTV)
