Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan sees Lil Wayne as much more than a dope hip-hop star. The rap artist has placed Weezy F. Baby in “Greatest of All Time” tier.

In a new interview, Quan dished on his admiration for Wayne and how he’s tried to channel his inner Lil Tunechi.

“Who didn’t wanna be Wayne? At some point, I was growing braids trying to look exactly like Wayne,” he says. “When I realized how talented he was, it was over with. He already had me going from the look, then, when…I could read lyrics…I felt like it was relatable to the story I was going through…Wayne’s the G.O.A.T.” (Rap-Up)

In a recent interview, Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball called Wayne the best rapper alive.

In the latest edition of the Los Angeles Lakers’ “24 Seconds” video segment, Ball had to answer a series of rapid fire question as quick as he can. When it came to name the best rapper alive, the rookie star quickly said Lil Wayne. (247 Sports)

A few days ago, the Internet went nuts over Wayne low-key reuniting with Cash Money boss Birdman in Miami.

Last night, Lil Wayne and Birdman reunited once again at LIV nightclub in Miami, Florida during #LIVonSundays. As well as Tunechi and Baby, other people in attendance that night were 2 Chainz, Mack Maine, Brian Williams Jr., and more. (Lil Wayne HQ)

Recently, Birdman promised to soon deliver Lil Wayne’s long-delayed Tha Carter V album.

“He is the best ever to me,” he said. “A lot of success comes from under his umbrella. I think it’s gonna be the biggest album of 2018, one of them. Without a doubt. It’s gonna be well worth the wait.” (Rap-Up)
