Rhude Debuts First Campaign with Future As The Face

Rhude founded and created by Rhuigi Villaseñor, a Philippine-born American who had a dream and made it into a reality. Villaseñor started in 2013 with his first design being a cotton t-shirt printed with black and white bandana patterns. He sold this shirt for $200 and it was attracted by the traditional culture of the West Coast Chicanos. After that, his brand has grown and celebs such as Kendrick Lamar, ASAP Rocky, and Ellen Degeneres have been seen wearing Rhude.

Today Rhude debuts its first-ever campaign with Atlanta rap star Future as the face of it. Future is known to turn down being the front of many large brands but Rhude is different. It is said by Villaseñor that Future is a supporter of the brand and that they have a personal relationship. Their relationship goes back to 2019 when Future and Villaseñor worked on his merch for Future’s album “The Wizrd.”

The theme of the campaign goes back to his roots of the bandana and paisley print for both the spring 2021 and fall 2021 collections. The collection itself consists of jackets, parkas and bandanas, all fitting the original theme.

For the ladies wanting a piece of this brand, Villaseñor says that the women’s campaign is coming soon. Patience is a virtue.
