Remy departed prison following a hefty bid in August 2014 on a gun conviction.

After serving six years of her eight-year prison sentence, Bronx rapper Remy Ma was released from the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women on Friday. A representative from Remy’s camp confirmed to Revolt that the rapper left prison on Friday afternoon. She followed up her release by posting “I’m Back” on Instagram. (Billboard)

Initial plans were for Remy to return home a month prior.

“Remy Smith’s tentative release date of July 31 was postponed due to a misbehavior report involving a July 21 incident for phone violations, particularly third party calling,” Linda Foglia, a public information officer for the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision told MTV News. 1. If you would like extra income of about $50 to $300 every day for doing basic work at your home for 3-4 hrs every day then check this out…

  2. Although I like both these artists, if your music is popping, you don’t have time for reality TV. Reality TV is where dead artist go to earn checks because it has not been done musically.

  3. I love all these artists once said that reality tv is corny, which it is. Now though, all of them are doing it. I can see people like Bacc Chyna, Amber Rose, the Kardashians and all of these other no talent people doing these shows. The fact of the matter is, they have nothing that’s interesting and unique to offer the general population. However, these artists shouldn’t be doing those “reality” tv shows. These things are for washed up artists and actors going nowhere fast. I guess we Papoose and Remy fall into that category.
