Rap veteran Redman feels Eminem did a lot more than just make words rhyme with his 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher. The New Jersey native recently shared his stance toward Slim Shady’s anti-Donald Trump freestyle.
In a new interview, Reggie Noble co-signed Em’s bars and fully supported him.
“He has power and he used his power on that BET cypher to make a statement for us as well as a people, as all of us as a people, but especially for us. Everyone, anyone should respect that man for that because he didn’t have to do it. It’s not even many of us that wouldn’t step out the box and did what he did and took that opportunity to used that platform on the BET cypher to make a motherf*cking statement.” (BET)
Recently, Internet duo Diamond and Silk clapped back at Em’s freestyle.
Vloggers Diamond And Silk issued a scathing response to rapper Eminem after he demanded fans choose between him and President Trump in a prerecorded video played at the BET Awards. Diamond And Silk said in their response that “when you come for President Trump, we are going to come for you.” The pair say in their response video, “Trump’s your president, so get over it.” (Conservative Fighters)
After the BET freestyle aired, hip-hop artists J. Cole and 50 Cent came through to applaud Em.
