Mrs. Rice jumped onto her Instagram page Tuesday (September 9) to address the drama.

“I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I’m mourning the death of my closest friend. But to have to accept the fact that it’s reality is a nightmare in itself. No one knows the pain that the media & unwanted options from the public has caused my family. To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his a** off for all his life just to gain ratings is a horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE! What don’t you all get. If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you’ve succeeded on so many levels. Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is! Ravensnation we love!,” Mrs. Rice wrote September 9. (Janay Palmer-Rice’s Instagram)

This report claims the NFL may have known about the footage all along…

The NFL may have reportedly turned a blind eye to seeing the footage earlier this year.

Commissioner Rodger Goodell made his disciplinary decision in the dark, which raises the question … Is that the way he wanted it? Sources connected with the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City tell TMZ Sports … NO ONE from the NFL ever asked for the video inside the elevator … video that was compelling enough to get Rice instantly fired.  (TMZ)

Details of the Baltimore Ravens’ decision to release Rice surfaced Monday (September 8) afternoon.

Ray Rice won’t get another chance with the Baltimore Ravens after all. He might not get a chance anywhere else in the NFL either. The Ravens announced they’ve terminated Rice’s contract Monday afternoon, hours after TMZ.com posted video of the embattled running back punching his then-fiancée during an altercation at an Atlantic City hotel in February. (USA Today)

The National Football League suspended Rice indefinitely Monday.

The NFL followed up by suspending Rice indefinitely, which would prevent another team from picking him up. Earlier in the day, the NFL said it had never seen the violent video before it suspended him for two games earlier this summer for domestic abuse. “We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator,” the NFL said in a statement today. “The video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.” (ABC News)

  1. delusional bitch?; or just a straight thorobreed woman defending her husband? ONly time will tell

    • That’s the point if the bitch is cool then mind your fucking business only protect the hoes that wanna be saved cause if they don’t then let they ass drown. Problem with this country we can never worry or fix our own shit we gotta deal with someone else mess and they fine. Smh!

      • Lol that you think the NFL gives a shit about her. They suspended his ass because the PR on this shit is bad. Her husband is bad for business now, so I hope they’ve been saving.

        • and yes you are correct. The PR was hurting the NFL. that broad means nothing to the NFL. but she mad cause the money gone.

  2. this broad is stoopid like Gucci mane. one minute she attacking her husband in the elevator which to led to her getting punched. now she saying her husband is getting unfair treatment. She just want the money and to live the life. Single life > married life. these women provoke men into doing harsh shit. Don’t fall for the trap always keep your composure or you could be the next Ray Rice.

      • you got the gun so start with yourself first! I meet you afterwards. Dumbass.

          • Don’t bother feeding into an argument with him because you will only get back some kind of irrational, belligerent response. Most of these dudes on here hate women. ESPECIALLY black women.

          • wrong I don’t hate women at all. and if you read my response you will see there was nothing irrational about my response. And if you turn on CNN you can see my response is exactly what they are saying. The same thing 50 cent says about the Game all the time. these people have behavior problems and flip flop. You cant have it both ways. Don’t prejudge me. You never heard me say I hate black women. That is all. Carry on.

          • I never said she deserve it. I said she is a hypocrite. One minute she wanted him to be punished, then once they took salary away she went on TV and complained about it. The same that was behind her she talking about and said it was a nightmare. The nightmare she is referring to is not getting the money. Read between the lines. She is all about the money. She can careless about being assaulted or knocked out. And if you watch the video you can see her attack Ray Rice. Which provoked him into doing harm. I don’t excuse Ray Rice, but this is a known act by these type of women. and let’s not forget about Jay Z being attacked in the elevator as well. He just didn’t respond like Ray Rice. But best believe she was trying to provoke Jay-Z. Money is always the motive. Jay saw through it.

  3. Is she stupid? This aint about your life, a crime was committed on camera and the world witnessed it… Basically what she’s saying is “Hey everyone, I know he committed a horrible crime on video but if you lock him up, I’ll be another broke female working at Jack N The Box”

  4. I feel her. Tho Ray is wrong, the abuse that the media is putting them through is lasting much longer than the incident itself.

She can’t defend herself against her man. Now she has to try to defend herself, her decisions, and her man against an even more brutal opponent in the media and keyboard bullies and know it alls.

  5. Its bigger than that. You notice nobody came to the brother and said u need some help, you have anger issues. BLACK men, you are being Exploited. We are the poster child, of Domestic Abuse. Hopefully we will start being stronger with our anger and not to hit any woman.
