R&B singer Ray J has come forward to clear the air on what really had him thrown behind bars heading into the weekend on a slew of criminal charges including vandalism. #SpankThat
Ray addressed the incident going down after leaving a California jail this weekend.
Ray J made contact with a woman’s ass at a swanky Bev Hills hotel, and that’s why someone called the cops to report a sexual battery … which led to a violent confrontation and his arrest. The Beverly Hills PD tells us Ray J was in an altercation Friday night at the Beverly Wilshire hotel bar. He somehow made contact with a woman’s butt and that’s why cops were called. They determined it was NOT a sexual battery — the contact was “incidental.” Apparently Ray J was asked to leave and all was ok, until he got to the valet area, where cops say he became belligerent and then refused drive off. Singer/songwriter Ray J had a violent outburst at the fancy Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills Friday and it landed him in jail, RumorFix has confirmed. The Beverly Hills Police Department tells us that Brandy’s brother refused to leave the valet area at the Four Seasons around 7:30 p.m. Friday and the hotel management signed a private person’s arrest for trespassing. And, that’s when things got really bad. Officers say he resisted arrest — in fact, he allegedly kicked out the rear window of a police car and spit on an officer. So, he now the man who is famous for being in Kim Kardashian‘s sex tape is charged with battery against a police officer (spitting), vandalism (kicking out the window), resisting arrest and trespassing. He is being held on a $20,000 bond. (RumorFix)

We’re told hotel staff asked Ray J to leave, but he refused. TMZ obtained photos of officers on the scene questioning Ray and an unidentified woman … shortly before he was taken into custody — and we’re told he did not go quietly. Once cuffed in the back seat of a patrol unit … Ray allegedly kicked out a window of the vehicle. Right now Ray is getting booked by Bev Hills PD for trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest, and battery … according to our sources. (TMZ)
