Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz continues to put in work with his Grammy-nominated Based On A T.R.U. Story solo debut by putting out a visual for the new "I'm Different" single.
Shot in Miami, Chainz’s new video features various elements including flashy women, the elderly, kids and more.
The video kicks off with some nice slow motion shots of the Miami Beach area. Chainz is seen looking cool amidst the palm trees while shots of a road drug bust and topless car wash signs inter-cut between his performance. Another interesting scene comes in with Chainz on a boat partying with some hot chicks and casually being towed on the road. He certainly proves that he is different when it comes to traveling in style and partying on a boat. Some action and hot pursuit enters the video as a police car-jacking takes place on the beach road-side. More sexy shots of muscle-bound guys and scantily-clad girls giving each other knowing glances and stares are mixed with Chainz’s boat partying and leopard suit performance. (Ace Showbiz)
Back in early November, Chainz spoke on the “I’m Different” visual being in production and how far he wanted to experiment with it.
“I’m shooting ‘I’m Different’ real soon,” he said, noting it as the next video to follow his trippy “Birthday Song” clip. ” I wrote the treatment for that and I’m really excited to continue pushing the envelope and giving the fans something to see, some excitement again, really building that curiosity up with hip-hop again — I’m happy to be one of the frontrunners for that campaign.” (MTV)
His last music video, “Birthday Song,” even inspired pop star Miley Cyrus on her born day.
Miley Cyrus had a butt-naked birthday celebration — latching on to a stripper’s bare ass, and TMZ has the first pic of the awesome encounter … inspired by none other than 2 Chainz! Miley rang in her 20th last month with a house party in Hollywood … and sources inside the bash tell us Miley’s friends ordered a few strippers — one of whom dropped a booty-shaking lap dance on the birthday girl. Recently, Chainz announced his new LP reached gold status after just a few months in stores.
