G.O.O.D. Music affiliate 2 Chainz has yet to address his publicized $5 million “THOT” lawsuit but acknowledged the headline-generating attention it has created.

Chainz re-posted the big legal story on his Twitter page Thursday (July 9) night.

Reports this week revealed Chainz calling female victim Christine Chisholm a “THOT (That H*e Over There)” in a clip from March 2014 could cost him millions.

According to the lawsuit, Chisholm claims two weeks after the video was posted — and was seen by 10 million people — she was fired from her job at a barber shop because the manager thought the video would bring negative publicity to the shop. Chisholm claims being called a ho subjected her to harassment and abuse in public and has severely damaged her reputation … and she wants $5,000,000 in damages. (TMZ)

Earlier this year, Chainz talked about his long-awaited follow-up to 2013’s B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time album.

“I should have an album coming out this year. I’ll be switching into Titty Boi mode and really going hard on my project. When it comes to my work you’re going to expect a concept, you’re going to expect a storyline, expect bars and beats and everything else that comes with 2 Chainz. Right now and as far as 2014, I was really focusing on surrounding myself with a comfortable team for the youth and experience that could keep me alive and popping while giving me some longevity. I’m starting to feel like the beginning of that. Now, I can revert back to Titty Boi and being me again, 2 Chainz, Titty Boi the only child. Really going in and giving fans something to be proud of.” (HHDX)

Chainz revealed his next solo album would arrive sometime this year on social media in December 2014.
