Rae Sremmurd won’t have any issues landing big spots on the Billboard 200 chart. The hip-hop duo’s new SR3MM album is expected to easily debut high with strong opening sales.

Based on early estimates, Rae are expected to push out over 50,000 copies in the first 7 days.

At the moment, Columbia’s Leon Bridges is on track to have the week’s top debut. But Eardruma/Interscope’s Rae Sremmurd and Atlantic’s Shinedown aren’t far behind.

Leon Bridges (Columbia) 57-62k total activity, 52-57k album
Rae Sremmurd (Eardruma/Interscope) 55-60k, 7-8k album
Shinedown (Atlantic) 55-60k, 45-50k (HITS Daily Double)

In late April, Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee released their “Close” music video.

Swae recently dished on what fans could expect from the SremmLife 3 studio album release.

The album’s release date has been pushed back a few times – thanks to tinkering, the brothers say, and to their label’s sense of ideal timing. Jxmmi says he’s impatient, though: “I can’t sleep at night.” Swae turns to me. “When it come out, it’s gonna change the world,” he says. “I’m about to make a major statement. I’m about to take a massive sh*t. Everyone’s gonna hear this album and know that real rock stars lived on the Earth at the same time they did.” (Rolling Stone)
