R&B veteran R. Kelly is ready to move on from this week’s headline-generating craziness. The crooner has fallen back on widespread cult reports and delivered an open message to fans.

Kells went to Instagram Tuesday (July 18) with an uplifting note to his 976,000 followers.

This week, 21-year-old alleged Kelly female cult member Joycelyn Savage spoke out and denied her family’s accusations.

“I’m 21, I’m about to be 22 in 5 days and I just mainly want to say that I am in a happy place with my life and I’m not being brainwashed or anything like that. It just came to a point where it definitely has gotten out of hand. So I just want everybody to know, my parents and everybody in the world I am totally fine. I’m happy where I’m at and everything’s okay with me.” (TMZ)

This week, Savage’s family came forward to address their daughter’s disappearance.

Yesterday, social media exploded with reactions to the R. Kelly cult accusation.
