R&B veteran R. Kelly won’t let social media drag his name without speaking out. The music pioneer has come forward to address allegedly bullying an autistic fan.

Kells went to social media to deny bullying the 27-year-old fan and defended his image.

“Okay, now people want to say I’m making fun of people with autism. Totally not true. I was coming from a club the other night. I was tipsy and everybody else was tipsy. It was about two o’clock in the morning, around the time the club closed. This guy was coming up to me like a fan and didn’t seem like he had autism to me, at all and I apologize to him if he did. He appeared pure drunk to me and singing my songs and security had to get him up off me a couple of times because he was coming up a little too close but it was all good. I welcomed the guy – joked with him, like I do everybody. Had him singing one of my songs, I was singing the song. I felt very good and positive. But the point is everything I do is just, I can’t seriously do anything without something negative about me. I give a guy $100 on the streets and the next morning they say I gave him $3. It’s just too much. Let me do my work. It’s obviously people trying to blackball me and destroy my career. I understand that but I got this one thing that I’ll say. I don’t tell God about my problems. I tell my problems about my God. I love my fans.”

Earlier in the day, a new clip went viral of Kells getting at Lenny Felix in Hollywood outside of a nightclub and allegedly making fun of him.

The singer and his crew responded by baiting Lenny into singing, “I Believe I Can Fly.” Instead of showing warmth or appreciation, Kelly looked into the camera and mockingly sang, “I believe that you high … smoking on that Percocet.” Kelly’s pals burst into laughter, but Lenny’s family was shocked and feel he was victimized. They tell us Lenny’s reaction to the clip was, “I don’t want him to think I’m dumb. Do you think he was making fun of me?” (TMZ)

A few weeks ago, Kells put the Internet into tears after releasing a creepy video about his love for cookies.
