Quality Control Music COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee is ready for the Aubrey & The Three Migos tour. The hip-hop executive has weighed-in on the upcoming Migos and Drake cross-country run.

In a new interview, Coach K explained why it only made sense to team up Drizzy with Migos for a summer ’18 tour.

“It was a good fit because Quavo and Drake are really good friends. They’ve worked on a lot of projects. They really have a lot of music together, you know what I’m saying? And, I mean, sh*t, but who else [would have taken their place?] I mean, Migos had such a good year. The last two years they really put the work in and I think it’s a really good fit. I personally think it’s a really good fit. It’s going to be a monstrous tour.” (Billboard)

K also talked about Migos’ recent success and a potential Drake EP coming together.

“The year overall has been crazy, really. Culture 2 I feel like was some of their best body of work, you know what I’m saying. They’re just getting better and better and I honestly feel like individually, they’re just coming into their own now. Like, really tapping into whom they are. So, that’s only going to make them that much better. … [Migos and Drake EP?] I mean, you know, you gotta wait on that. We’re gonna let the creators create and if that happens, that happens, you know what I’m saying?” (Billboard)

Yesterday, Drake went to social media and announced the full-fledged tour.
