G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T is working on a masterpiece. New footage has emerged of the rap veteran boasting about fresh tunes brewing with Kanye West.
This weekend, a clip emerged of Pusha dishing on having a long-awaited album on deck with Ye’s help.
“I’ve already done this album three times. Like you know, he come in, he picks all the beats and sh*t and then he hears the beats, he scraps them and says, ‘Oh, I can do better.’ He done did that sh*t like three times. So these past two months, we been working, day for day, night for night, getting this album perfect for y’all. Just to take it a bit further, man, that’s the luxury. When you’re on your rap superhero sh*t, you get to take your time at being great for you and your family – so I’ma take my time and get this sh*t right for y’all.”

A few days ago, a pic emerged of Kanye and Pusha T together in California.
Back in summer 2015, Pusha explained the delay in delivering his King Push album.
“When you make albums like I do, and it’s based off fanfare and based off touring — I make these albums and I get on the road. It’s not really a radio-driven thing. I get on the road and I see my fans and I touch each and every last one of them. I do that for however long it takes. Then we start the process all over again, making music. So sometimes there’s lag time.” (Billboard)
Back in December 2014, Pusha said his long-awaited King Push album would outshine its competition.
“It’s called King Push, and it’s executive produced by Kanye West. I want to say that the music sound bed for it is shaping up to be better than My Name Is My Name. Lyrically, it’s a monster. I’m never cutting corners on that. I feel like the more albums I hear, I know mine’s going to be better. I’ma hear a couple more albums before I say it’s going to be the best one of the year.” (Entertainment Weekly)
