Pusha credited hip-hop’s newcomers for bringing revamped energy to the genre.

“Musically, I like a lot of these guys’ energy. I like the Rae Sremmurd kids. I like the Migos guys. That energy is what keeps the game growing,” Pusha said in an interview. “I would say that working with my brother was a highlight [of my career], especially on Hell Hath No Fury. Hell Hath No Fury is one of the best rap albums ever made. That’s my opinion.” (Entertainment Weekly)

Recently, the G.O.O.D. Music stud promised fans he was still hard at work on his next solo album.

Pusha T is now hard at work on his sophomore album, King Push. He says listeners can expect “more unorthodox hiphop” from the record. “[There is] aggressive angst, organized chaos, thought-provoking raps; it gets a little conscious at times, rebelliously conscious.” By way of explanation, Pusha T shrugged: “That’s where life is putting me right now.” (Forbes)

Earlier this year, Pusha talked about his upcoming King Push solo album.

“It’s in the beginning stages. I’ve been in with Pharrell and Chad and I was in Miami for a little while, so any producer that was down there I would try to link up with in between time with The Neptunes, just to see what everybody got. But I think everybody’s gonna be really happy with this album. I’m really taking my time with it. I’m not forcing any of this music; it has to live up to the title ‘King Push.'” (Montreality)

  1. That awkward moment when someone tries to compare a album like Hell Hath No Fury to artist like Migos….

    Push a Ton….Stop it….you know they wack…..quit co-signing the bullshit…

      • Rap can have many different styles, i agree…but wack is wack….them boys are trash and he knows it…

        • Im a down right golden era nigga and personally, i fuck with some of migos shit, if you say “first 48” wack then i dont know what u like in music..and the scrhemmer kids no type and flex zone with the beats tights, the songs were catchy..not some oh i gotta hear this type shit but it sounds good to me…maybe its bc im from the south and we like country rap tunes as well as hip hop

          • Well i’m always up for suggestions…so i’mma go and listen to First 48 and see exactly what the business is…nah i’m not a fan of the other stuff….it sounds like some grade school shit to be honest….i like Southern rap too so i don’t think its a Southern thing, at least with me.

  2. That comment was the straw that broke the camels back with that dumb shit. Them nights is wack. And Push ain’t the same without his brother. No Malice is the truth.
