Rihanna recently announced an exciting new collaboration with Puma for her billion-dollar brand, Fenty. The highly anticipated shoe collection will soon be available on Puma’s official website and in-store retailers.
The ‘Avanti’ Shoe
On Thursday, September 7, Rihanna unveiled her newest Fenty collaboration with Puma. The singer/business mogul shared the news on her Instagram, stating, “we are back… reintroducing the Avanti. #FENTYXPUMA.”
The “Avanti” shoe is inspired by soccer footwear and comes in two different versions. One is a striking silver-metallic colorway, while the other is a sleek black leather with tan and gold trimming. The collection pays homage to the legendary Brazilian soccer player Pele, as Riri was specifically inspired by him while designing her collection for Puma.
She also expressed her love for the sport, saying, “Football is a universal language that brings people together from all over the world, all walks of life, and I wanted to pay homage to that.”
Fenty x Puma Past Collaborations
This is not Rihanna’s first collaboration with Puma. In 2016, she partnered with the brand and released her first shoe collection, the “Creepers.”
These platform versions of Puma’s iconic suede shoes became a huge hit among fans. One fan even expressed their excitement for the comeback of Puma X Fenty, stating, “She’s about to revive Puma.”
The highly anticipated “Avanti” shoe collection is set to release on September 15 and will be available on puma.com and in-store retailers.

Rihanna and Puma are set to revive their iconic Fenty x Puma collaboration. The sportswear brand recently shared the news on social media. The two sides last worked together in 2017.
Once again, superstar singer Rihanna, who just announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl performance, is a partner of the sportswear brand Puma. The company recently announced her return on Instagram.
The post on Puma’s official Instagram was simply captioned, “She’s Back,” along with the Fenty mogul’s Instagram handle @badgalriri. The two parties last worked together in 2017.
Rihanna Navy Fans Excited For Another Fenty x Puma Collection
Fans reacted to the news on Twitter, mostly with excitement. One fan predicted it would be a “blood bath” when Rihanna’s fur slides drop, a popular product of their previous partnership.
Other reactions included one user saying Puma needed Rihanna’s help to improve financially. Another fan tweeted a Rihanna GIF, admitting in the caption that she keeps spending money on Fenty products. Rihanna is also set to go on tour soon. With her return to Puma, she will look to add to her billionaire status.
Rihanna Files Trademark For Fenty Hair, New Line Could Be Dropping Soon
Superstar singer and billionaire Rihanna filed a trademark for Fenty Hair with her company, Roraj Trade LLC, in 2021, but the trademark was extended last July.
Fenty Hair will include brushes, combs, hair bands, barrettes, wigs, and more.
