As his first 100 days in office come to a close, CNN is inviting Americans to rate President Barack Obama‘s progress.

The network is airing The CNN National Report Card: First 100 Days and encouraging viewers to tune in, log on to and be heard.

Led by anchors Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, John King and Soledad O’Brien, the show will gauge the public’s opinion on how President Obama and other elected officials have handled their first 100 days in office, as well as how the country is progressing on significant issues. “CNN is giving you a chance to grade the president, Congress and your state leaders,” said Cooper. “You’ll get a chance to grade on everything from the economy to America’s standing in the world.” (CNN)

President Obama’s historic inauguration attracted the attention of many hip-hop’s biggest stars, most of whom encouraged the public to stay involved in politics beyond the election.

“A lot of people got out to vote for the first time like myself and now that we got him in there we got to support him because he still got a whole lot of junk to fix up in a short amount of time,” Jadakiss told SOHH. “We got to get behind him support him give him some time to fix it, get him in there for another term and then hopefully we can get some good results out of this whole thing.” (SOHH)

R&B crooner Anthony Hamilton also preached the importance of increased participation.

“There is a lot of work to be done to get this nation back on track. As African Americans we have to step up and be responsible, stop making excuses. As Americans we must come together and allow Barack to access the people we have been dying to be – united and ready for change. Classy change ain’t never hurt no pockets.”, which is powered by the League of Young Voters Education Fund, has been engaging young Americans in the political process during President Obama’s first days in office.

During the first hundred days of Obama’s administration, users will be encouraged to submit creative video testimonials outlining the biggest problems facing their communities. Site administrators will sift through the submissions and post the day’s most engaging videos to the site’s front page. Videos will be selected based on their creativity and resonance. (

The CNN National Report Card: First 100 Days will air tonight, Wednesday, April 29th, at 7pm ET.
