“Power” isn’t quite ready to bid farewell to Kanan Stark just yet. The popular Starz series is now urging fans to help bury one of its most popular characters with everyone’s favorite moments.
On Tuesday, the “Power” social media channels urged followers to start using #RIPKANAN with their tribute videos.
This week, “Power” creator Courtney Kemp addressed killing off Kanan in last Sunday’s broadcast.
“Itβs a lot of work to be a series regular on a series like this. So, part of it was actually just expanding his career and his horizons in television and in film but also providing the audience with the first clues about the end of the series. This show was not designed to go 10 seasons. It was not designed to go 15 seasons. Itβs not a crime procedural or a sitcom. Itβs a closed-ended story that really begins and, in some way, ends with Ghost.” (Deadline)
Some “Power” stars almost immediately bid farewell to 50 Cent‘s epic bad guy character.
