[With “Power” continuing to flourish and new records like “Lotto” gaining him more recognition, G-Unit’s Rotimi talks to SOHH about how he teamed up with music mogul 50 Cent’s star-studded clique.]
50 Cent heard the [“Lotto”] record and heard the music and wanted to make a situation happen where he kind of kept it in-house.
With him being on the record and the correlation on the [“Power”] show, it just made perfect sense. We have the same goal for my future.
Following somebody that’s like a mogul at this level, it doesn’t make sense to look anywhere else because I want to follow those certain footsteps that he did to be a successful music, acting, businessman, mogul.
That, to me, was a great selling point and the staff here is amazing as well.
Everybody has something to prove and everybody doesn’t necessarily have it but we all move like there is a chip on our shoulder and we have something to prove.
I love that aspect of it.
