Texas rapper Post Malone‘s former home fell victim to robbers. New reports claim criminals recently tried going for Malone’s riches at a crib he no longer lives in.
According to reports, the robbers thought Post still stayed there and ultimately shook up residents with no connection to him.
Law enforcement sources tell us … 3 male suspects smashed a front window a little after midnight on September 1 and entered the San Fernando Valley house. We’re told a resident living there was pistol whipped. We’re told one of the 3 men yelled, “Where’s Post Malone?!” … before stealing a bunch of cash, jewelry and cell phones … about $20k worth. The barking out of Post’s name makes it clear they were targeting him, but it’s been months since he lived there. (TMZ)
Last week, Malone narrowly dodged death after getting involved in a nasty car wreck.
The rapper’s Rolls Royce crashed into a Kia and then smashed through a fence and came to rest in some shrubs, according to Sgt. Andrew Meyers of the Beverly Hills Police Department. Meyers tells Billboard that the incident took place at Doheny Dr. and Santa Monica Blvd. around 2:42 a.m. and that the car owned by Posty, 23 (born Austin Richard Post) was being driven by his assistant, with the rapper in the passenger seat. Despite the seriousness, Malone and his assistant did not need immediate medical attention.
No injuries were reported from the accident, Sgt. Diana said. He also said no alcohol was involved in the crash. Malone, né Austin Richard Post, and his assistant were photographed on the scene speaking to authorities while the car was towed away. Its driver’s side door was completely smashed in. (People)
A few hours ago, Malone went to Twitter to low-key reference his accident.
