In its opening day, Malone’s new album crushed a huge Spotify streaming record.
Cheers to @PostMalone 🍻
'beerbongs & bentleys' has broken the first-day streaming record both globally (78,744,748) and in the U.S. (47,930,039) https://t.co/55Q4EGK0NL pic.twitter.com/f70PREqqlM— Spotify (@Spotify) April 28, 2018
Malone’s new project reportedly stacked up huge numbers on the Apple Music chart.
Tracks from beerbongs occupy nine of the Top 10 spots at Apple Music, meanwhile, and 16 of Top 20. For those of you who remember that old-timey transaction known as a “sale,” you’ll get a nostalgic kick out of hearing that the album is #1 at iTunes (and #18 with the clean version), and that three of its tracks are in the Top 10 at the download emporium.
