Texas rapper Post Malone should thank his lucky stars. The hip-hop artist has once again dodged death after getting involved in a serious California car crash.

According to reports, the serious wreck happened Friday (September 7) morning in West Hollywood.

The rapper’s Rolls Royce crashed into a Kia and then smashed through a fence and came to rest in some shrubs, according to Sgt. Andrew Meyers of the Beverly Hills Police Department. Meyers tells Billboard that the incident took place at Doheny Dr. and Santa Monica Blvd. around 2:42 a.m. and that the car owned by Posty, 23 (born Austin Richard Post) was being driven by his assistant, with the rapper in the passenger seat. Despite the seriousness, Malone and his assistant did not need immediate medical attention.

No injuries were reported from the accident, Sgt. Diana said. He also said no alcohol was involved in the crash. Malone, né Austin Richard Post, and his assistant were photographed on the scene speaking to authorities while the car was towed away. Its driver’s side door was completely smashed in. (People)

A few hours ago, Malone went to Twitter to low-key reference his accident.

Last month, Malone made a safe plane landing after tires blew out once it took off for an international trip.

Post Malone is currently onboard a plane that’s set to perform an emergency landing after two of the plane’s tires allegedly blew out after takeoff. Malone and his team left from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey Tuesday headed to London. A law enforcement source at Teterboro tells us the private plane’s tires blew off during takeoff and the pilot circled back around to perform an emergency landing. 11:31 AM PT — Post’s plane has been diverted to another airport in New York, it will continue to hover above and burn fuel until landing.
