Plies Drives Hammered & Gets Slammered Bihhhhh, Arrested In Florida

Florida rapper Plies is making some less than friendly headlines. The hip-hop veteran found himself in handcuffs Tuesday (January 17) on a driving under the influence charge.

Details have surfaced on Plies’ unexpected run-in with law enforcement.

The Florida rapper was arrested early Tuesday morning and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail for allegedly being messed up behind the wheel. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they slapped on the cuffs after Plies was pulled over on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was released on a $500 bond the same day. Sounds like he wanted to get back to vibin’ at the Ritz-Carlton. (TMZ)

Days prior, Plies took a verbal jab at Thugger and questioned his rank in hip-hop.

“I don’t play with a certain tier of artists, like you trying to get poppin and shit,” he said of Thug. “I don’t fuck with lower tier artists, I just don’t.” Plies said that he looks at Thug as a lower tier artist because his last project, I’m Up, only sold around 10,000 copies in the first week. “Don’t you go back and forth with a motherfucker that ain’t on your level,” he added.
