It’s not my particular situation. My particular pressure was based on my asthma and my medication side effects. Of course overall stress levels accumulated throughout the years over different things.

I was watching a program on one of the prominent doctors here in the United States on TV and he was saying how he just started to see a medical professional and he just now started to address the voices in his head or even that thinking.

You think of it as a negative or as a crazy thing. But the voice in his head is like, “I think you should be further in your career than you are now”, “I think you should be married by now”, “I think you should be further in your education than you are”. There’s nothing wrong with that voice.

That voice is supposed to be there. How do you build with that voice in terms of reaching the curb that you think you should be at, or the drive or the lack of drive? But there can be a deeper issue that people are just now starting to come to grips with and handle.

That voice can make you become a workaholic. You can get anxiety from that and not reaching your goals.

I think it’s a very natural thing, who are you if you don’t have any inner drive or any morals that you’re not paying attention to. The voices are like, “This is totally wrong and I think you should apologize”, and now I feel bad that I didn’t.
