Paper Magazine has stepped forward to put its foot down on handfuls of altered pictures starring cover girl Kim Kardashian following its steamy winter issue spread premiering earlier in the week.
Despite the pics being promoted as “untouched,” Paper Mag said they are not authentic.
The pics that are circulating show what everyone expects to see … dimplings, rolls, a wider waist and stretch marks. The pic on the left is almost a cartoon version of reality. The pic on the right is a little better, just showing uneven cheeks. A rep for Paper Magazine tells TMZ none of the photos are authentic. The Chief Creative Officer for the mag said on TMZ Live … none of the Photoshopping they did was drastic. (TMZ)

The publication’s editorial director Mickey Boardman addressed photoshop rumors about the cover this week.
“Every cover of every magazine is airbrushed on some level,” Boardman tells Us. “But what I will say, is that is her butt. It is not padded. It is not augmented. That is all really her. But, yes, there was retouching to clean things up and make things look amazing,” he admitted. “That’s what retouching is. It’s not building an ass that isn’t there or taking 50 pounds off the waist.” (Us Weekly)
Boardman also revealed how much interest Kim had in going to the extremes.
“There was some ass-related thing that was proposed but we weren’t sure what was going to happen,” Boardman explained. “We were really just planning on recreating the [famous] champagne shot…but she came in and was like, ‘Let’s, you know, let’s just go there!’ She and Jean-Paul just got into it with each other and got excited. She’s not shy about taking her clothes off, and the next thing [we knew], magic was happening.” (Us Weekly)
Kim’s rap star husband Kanye West jumped onto his Twitter page to post up the Paper cover and share his reaction.
“#ALLDAY,” Kanye tweeted late November 11. (Kanye West’s Twitter)
According to reports, Hollywood actress Naya Rivera scolded Kim K for being so explicit despite being a mother.
The Glee star seemingly threw shade at the E! star after fans noticed a comment posted on Kim’s Instagram photo of her racy Paper magazine cover from what appears to be Rivera’s account. “I normally don’t. But…you’re someone’s mother…,” the comment read. Naya hasn’t written anything after the fact to confirm or deny that she was actually behind the comment. (E! Online)
