OutKast’s Big Boi is reportedly going to make Las Vegas, Nevada his new home for 2016 with plans to perform in Sin City.

According to reports, Boi will make the Wynn Hotel his crib starting next weekend.

Big Boi will perform in Las Vegas for a year-long residency at the Wynn Hotel beginning Feb. 6. His residency plans also coincide with his brief tour dates with Phantogram as their collaborative project Big Grams. The OutKast vet and the duo released an EP last year and have a few festival dates like Governor’s Ball and Bonnaroo in the summer. (Billboard)

Recently, OutKast’s Andre 3000 talked about the possibility of releasing new tunes in 2016.

“I can’t say that I have a target right now,” Andre said when asked about putting out new music. “I’ve gotten in trouble before for saying when or what is coming, so I like to just kind of let it be. I’d like to put out some kind of music project, but we’ll see.” (Billboard)

A few months ago, Big Boi talked about missing out on a Super Bowl performance because of Three Stacks.

“We were supposed to perform at the Super Bowl. We had two songs, ‘The Way You Move’ and ‘Hey Ya!’ and we didn’t, Dre didn’t want to split the songs up. He didn’t want to cut the songs. He wanted to perform them so they were like, ‘Y’all can’t do it.’ He wanted to perform both songs in full and they didn’t give us enough time to do it so we passed. [How much was I in his ear to do it?] A lot. To this day, his son is like, ‘Dad, you should have performed at the Super Bowl.’ [laughs] We look at it now and laugh but hopefully they’ll invite us back. He’s like my brother. We grew up together. I slept on his bedroom floor when we were in high school when I moved to Atlanta. It’s bigger than music with us.” (“The Dan Le Batard”)

Three Stacks previously denied buzz about a new OutKast album coming together.

“There are no plans to do [an Outkast album]. It’s not like some people think: ‘They’re about to drop this album!’ We don’t have, like, one song. There’s no trickery or nothing like that,” Andre explained in an interview. “It’s kind of like growing up in a house with your brother, people expecting y’all to live in the same room and have bunk beds forever. And people try to read into it and say people are beefing. But it’s nothing like that, man. Big Boi will always be my brother and a really important part of my life.” (Billboard)
