According to reports, Three Stacks and Daddy Fat Sax will appear at New York’s annual Governors Ball.

The fest will be issuing hints about the rest of its lineup, which will feature over 80 artists, on its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts in the coming days. The first of these looks like white noise on a television screen. The second is a picture of Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur together. Governors Ball will announce its complete lineup, which may explain these pics, next week. Tickets to the fest will also go on sale next week. (Rolling Stone)

Coachella’s official line-up surfaced online Wednesday (January 8) night and confirmed OutKast’s presence.

The long-anticipated reunion of OutKast was made official on Wednesday as organisers of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival released this year’s lineup of acts. The Atlanta hip-hop duo consisting of Andre 3000 and Big Boi will hit the Coachella stage at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California after a seven-year hiatus. ‘Share it like a polaroid picture! OutKast, Muse, Arcade Fire + more #Coachella,’ organizers of the annual music festival tweeted with a reference to Hey Ya! from OutKast’s 2003 double album. More than 150 acts, from ASAP Ferg to ZZ Ward, were included in the lineups for the music festival that will holds its first weekend of performances from April 11 to 13 and its second weekend from April 18 to 20. Recently, Southern producer Rico Wade confirmed an OutKast reunion would go down at the event.

Rico also happens to be Future’s older cousin, which is how Future ended up with “DUNGEON” tattooed on his right forearm and “FAMILY” on his left. “I put Future in the studio for the first time,” Rico explains, eager to shed light on his own under-recognized legacy. As we bide our time in the lobby, he affably spills the beans about unreleased Andre 3000 solo songs from a decade ago and his hopes to score Future a cameo during OutKast’s reunion sets at Coachella. Eventually he pulls out his iPhone and plays me a Future/Andre collaboration he produced called “Benz B*tch” that’s earmarked for Honest. It’s yet another side of Future and one rarely heard: brainy, libidinous space-age funk mined from Stankonia’s dankest caverns, an homage to his Dungeon Family roots. (Stereo Gum)
