Oh Baby! DMX Welcomes 15th Baby Exodus Simmons

Ruff Ryders leader DMX is a father one more time after welcoming another child into his life this month.

According to reports, X and his girlfriend are now the proud parents to newborn baby boy Exodus Simmons.

The baker’s dozen plus 2 was born Friday in NYC … weighing in at 6 lbs, 10 oz. The mom is X’s longtime GF, Desiree. It’s her first child. The rapper missed the delivery — he was in Arizona when Exodus popped out. But he flew to NYC for the baby’s first night in the world. X tells us he’s overjoyed, calling the baby a “blessing.” (TMZ)

Recently, X talked about moving past a feud with rap star Drake.

“I did always say [Drake] was a talented lyricist. But I was not a fan, you’re right. I was not. Another humbling experience. Most people were like, ‘You didn’t like this dude for all the wrong reasons.’ … But for him to take the effort, first to want to use a song of mine and then to be man enough to reach out and make that call, that was a real move. A few months ago, Drake’s go-to producer Noah “40” Shebib credited X for influencing their Views album.

Back in 2012, DMX bashed Drake for trying to put out a posthumous Aaliyah album.

“Drake,” X said when asked what artists he feels are not talented. “He is [talented], he has talent but it’s kind of redundant. It’s kind of the same all the time, sounds the same, to me, personally, it’s like an annoying sound. [noises] It’s like a washing machine. [noises] Or a dryer. [noises] You know what, I don’t even have to explain why. I just don’t like what it is and I’m kind of feeling some kind of way about the fact you’ve commissioned, you’ve been blessed, you’ve been given the opportunity to do the Aaliyah album yet you don’t include anybody that she worked with personally? What part of the game is that? I’ma tell you why I’m mad, son! There’s a reason why I feel the way I feel. How do you do that?
