Cardi B’s Divorce Plans Crumble
According to reports, the legal separation is now a thing of the past. Fresh details reveal Cardi isn’t thinking about going forward with any type of official split.
Cardi B is no longer divorcing Offset, TMZ reports and Pitchfork can confirm via Fulton County, Georgia court documents. Cardi’s lawyers filed to dismiss the rapper’s complaint for divorce and other relief today (November 2) in Fulton County Superior Court. (Pitchfork)
Cardi B Deletes Twitter
In October 2020, rap star Cardi B pulled the plug on Twitter. Fans and haters aiming to get at her @iamcardib account were presented with a “This account doesn’t exist” message on Twitter.
The rapper, 28, took to Instagram — where her account, which has over 77 million followers, is still live — on Saturday to explain her decision to leave the other social-media platform. Primarily, she said in her rant on Instagram Live, she was upset at critique of her recent reunion with rapper Offset, who she filed for divorce from last month, and generally with being told what’s best for her. The deletion also came following non-stop online moments addressing a slew of rumors. She most recently talked about her decision to reunite with Offset and slammed people for getting at her best friend.
“I’m so tired that because of y’all I’ve gotta continuously explain myself. I didn’t put my divorce out there, a f - - king court clerk put it out there. And because people are making rumors up, ‘Oh, this guy has a girl pregnant,’ this and that, I have to address it.”
Cardi B Explodes On Fans Upset About Offset Reunion
Recently, the Bronx native went to her Twitter page and didn’t hold back on her feelings. She defended the decision to link back up with Offset and even trolled followers upset about the decision.
“I just don’t understand is like they want me to stay single and fuck on their father ….sh*t is crazy … Imma just give ya a apology because ya want me to apologize for living MY LIFE the way that ya live YOURS.Im sorry .Im not perfect I don’t want to be neither . … Imma make this very clear .Before I was a celeb I was crazy ass Cardi B.Same bitch ya saw on TV and on IG talkin sh*t and doing crazy shit .Im still that a lil bit more calm now but still the same .I don’t know why ya expect something different now.This ain’t Disney.” -Cardi B’s Twitter
Back Together Again
Prior to her statements, the New York rap star went to her Instagram Live to clear the air on a slew of topics including her marriage being saved. She also took a few moments to address accidentally posting a nude pic of herself onto her social media pages.
