No I.D. Protégé Snoh Tells Us She's Ready For Her Big Break: "I've Wanted This Since I Was 14"

[With summer officially here, No I.D. protégé Snoh talks to SOHH about not following other international artists’ blueprints and paving her own lane in a competitive music biz.]

I don’t really look so much at other artists when it comes to [their success], I’ve wanted to do this for so long and well before I knew who any of these artists were. I’ve wanted this since I was 14.

I think it’s amazing to see other artists, international artists, get a break here and vice-versa. It’s nothing I really think about and take inspiration from. I really just stay focused on my own path.

I can’t predict what’s going to be my big break. I just want to have as many people as possible to hear my music. That’s my goal. It’s for me to grow everyday. I’m forever going to be a student. I’m never going to feel like I know it all and I’m finished as an artist.

My goal is to just grow and have fun. I want to share my music with the world. I want to make people feel something. God knows what my big break will be.
