In January 2023, it appeared NLE Choppa was turning over a new leaf. He began to share his plans to turn his life around by cutting off his dreadlocks and heading into a “spiritual journey,” similar to Blac Chyna, who made a spiritual shift to focus on her Christian faith.

Did NLE Choppa Revert To His Old Ways?

Choppa has also done his share of good deeds, like setting up a peaceful protest in Memphis, while honoring the late Tyre Nichols, who died on Jan.10 from police brutality. However, it appears he has reverted to his old ways.

Recently, rappers Sukihana and Sexxy Red joined NLE Choppa for the new music video of the “Slut Me Out” remix. In the video preview, the Memphis rapper is spotted using Suki and Sexxy Red’s hair as leashes to “dog walk” them. Since then, Choppa has faced criticism for the music video preview.

In addition, dating rumors involving Red and Choppa sparked after they were seen flirting in a car. Twitter users flooded the comments to share their thoughts on the highly sexual content.

One user called Choppa “fake” for saying he was finding GOD in the past. Another called the video degrading and demoralizing, while another fan posted an old video of Suki captioned, “Ma’am what happened?”

The footage the user was referring to was a clip of Suki saying she regretted joining the music industry and wanted to quit rapping.

The “Slut Me Out” remix is set to release on April 7.
